SUMMARY:OHS November Open House
DESCRIPTION:Three jewels of the Odenton Historic District\, all listed on the National Register of Historic Places\, will share the spotlight in a photo display at the Odenton Heritage Society open house on Sunday\, November 6\, 2022.\n\nLongtime community centers in the west Anne Arundel railroad town – the 1917 Citizens State Bank\, 1918 Epiphany Chapel & Church House\, and 1912 Old Masonic Hall all reflect Odenton’s importance during World War I\, when soldiers at nearby Camp Meade brought new demands to the home front.\n\nAn educational museum scavenger hunt will be available for young visitors!\n\nHours at the open house are from 1PM to 4PM. Admission to the OHS Historical Center and museum tours are free. The OHS Historical Center is located at 1367 Odenton Road.\n\nWhile you’re there\, please consider becoming a member. Memberships help keep our all volunteer efforts in preserving and protecting the history of Odenton. We look forward to seeing you on the 6th!\n
