The mission of the Odenton Heritage Society is to preserve, protect, and promote the history and traditions of Odenton, Maryland.
Our Origins
Odenton’s origins can be traced back more than 170 years to the construction of railroads through a sparsely settled farming community.
Research Room
The Dorothy S. Hammond Research Room, located in the Odenton Historical Center museum, offers books, documents, maps, photographs, genealogical information, and other historical materials to assist in research projects.
Hours and Admission
The Historical Center is open on the first Sunday of each month from 1PM – 4PM. Admission is free!
