OHS March 2025 Open House
March 2 |1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Sunday, March 2, the Odenton Heritage Society will recognize the contributions of Jewish immigrants and their descendants to Odenton’s business community.
Spanning more than 150 years, the display will show how daily life changed with the opening of Odenton’s first bank, two large, popular general stores, and a factory that employed hundreds while satisfying demand for modern plastic materials.
Learn about the Silver, Brodsky, and Winer families and why they came to Odenton. Study the connection between Odenton’s bank and soldiers at Camp Meade. See a coin bank from World War I and plastic products made in Odenton.
Admission to the OHS Historical Center, which includes a community and railroad history museum, is free.
