Odenton Heritage Society Open House and Christmas Bazaar
Sunday, December 2, 2018, we will celebrate the Christmas season at our festively decorated Open House from 1PM - 4PM. Come meet and greet your friends and neighbors! We will have a variety of creative handmade crafts for sale to include lovely heirloom quilted personal items. We will also have delicious baked goods sale. OHS January Open House
Visit us at our first open house of 2019! Sunday, January 6, 2019, 1PM-4PM Odenton Heritage Society Historical Center & Museum 1367 Odenton Road Childhood toys of 1920's will be the theme of the January Open House. A miniature wood burning kitchen stove, play dishes, and cast iron trolley owned by the Chaney sisters, who grew up in a railroad worker's home, will be displayed. OHS February Open House
February 3rd will be photo copying day at the Odenton Heritage Society Historical Center. Bring your photographs of Odenton people, places, and events to be scanned into the Society's digital collection. The Odenton Heritage Society Historical Center, which is open the first Sunday of every month from 1PM to 4PM, features a museum about Odenton's history as a railroad town since the 1870s. OHS March Open House
At our next open house, Sunday, March 3rd from 1PM-4PM, the Odenton Heritage Society Museum will be featuring a new display about the Hammond Park neighborhood of Odenton. The only remaining 1950s street sign in the community has been moved to the museum, where it joins objects representing 150 years of Odenton history including railroads, homes, churches, schools, and businesses.
