Odenton Day 2018!
Odenton Day, October 6, 2018 As part of a joint effort by the Odenton Heritage Society, Odenton Volunteer Fire Company, the Greater Odenton Improvement Association and the West County Chamber of Commerce, we will celebrate Odenton Day on October 6th! Odenton Heritage Society November Open House
Our Open House on Sunday, November 4 will be Nevamar Day. Museum and Exhibits will be open from 1PM - 4PM Former employees of the Nevamar plastics plant, once Odenton's largest employer, are invited to talk to OHS volunteers about their careers, view displays about laminates, fibers, and other products, and donate photographs, literature, and objects. Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
Santa is coming! The annual Odenton Christmas tree lighting will be on Saturday December 1st, from 5PM until 7PM held at the Odenton MARC station (west side) at the White Rabbit Coffee Shop (1402 Odenton Road). There will be Christmas music, refreshments, the tree lighting, and Santa’s arrival by fire truck. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to visit with Santa and meet your neighbors. OHS January Open House
Visit us at our first open house of 2019! Sunday, January 6, 2019, 1PM-4PM Odenton Heritage Society Historical Center & Museum 1367 Odenton Road Childhood toys of 1920's will be the theme of the January Open House. A miniature wood burning kitchen stove, play dishes, and cast iron trolley owned by the Chaney sisters, who grew up in a railroad worker's home, will be displayed.
