Underground Odenton: The World Beneath Your Feet A photographic display highlights how Odenton’s location within the Severn and Patuxent River watersheds shaped the town’s growth. Odenton Day 2025!
On Saturday, October 4 from 9AM to 2PM, the Odenton Heritage Society will open its doors for the town's annual celebration of Odenton Day, a joint effort by the Odenton Heritage Society, Inc., Odenton Volunteer Fire Company, the Greater Odenton Improvement Association, and the Central Maryland Chamber. OHS November 2025 Open House
On Sunday, November 2, the Odenton Heritage Society will inaugurate a recurring costumed docent tour based on the WB&A Electric Railroad, which ran through Odenton from 1908 to 1935. Before the construction of US 50 and I-97, electric trains carried people between Washington, Baltimore, and Annapolis. A docent in full WB&A conductor's uniform will explain train operations, routes, train cars, and conductors of the past. Annual Odenton Christmas Tree Lighting and Visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus
Join us for our Annual Odenton Christmas Tree Lighting! Come celebrate the season with us on Saturday, December 6th, from 5:00–7:00PM at the Odenton MARC Station, located at 1402 Odenton Road (west side of the tracks, in front of the OHS old Bank Building).
