The Odenton Heritage Society's open house on Sunday, May 4, will feature a display of maps from Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks showing plans and updates on trails in the Odenton area, including construction of the South Shore Trail, which is underway. On Sunday, June 1, the Odenton Heritage Society will celebrate German culture in Maryland with a special display about Blob's Park, a historic and fondly remembered biergarten, polka palace, and German-style eatery that flourished from the 1930s to the 2010s.
