OHS Maryland Day Celebration Open House
Join the Odenton Heritage Society as we participate again in Maryland Day Weekend 2025! Visit us on Sunday, March 23 from 1PM-4PM. Our special display for the day is called “Women in Wartime: Odenton’s Military and Civilian Heroines.” During wartime, women shifted from less active roles to taking on more dynamic responsibilities, both in military service and on the home front. OHS May 2025 Open House
The Odenton Heritage Society's open house on Sunday, May 4, will feature a display of maps from Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks showing plans and updates on trails in the Odenton area, including construction of the South Shore Trail, which is underway. These trails follow historic railroad right-of-ways that converged in Odenton. OHS June 2025 Open House
On Sunday, June 1, the Odenton Heritage Society will celebrate German culture in Maryland with a special display about Blob's Park, a historic and fondly remembered biergarten, polka palace, and German-style eatery that flourished from the 1930s to the 2010s.
