Odenton Day 2022 – CANCELLED
We are sorry to announce that Odenton Day, scheduled for Saturday October 1, 2022, has been cancelled due to the expected heavy rain fall which will lead to pour attendance. We cancelled the event along with the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company and the Odenton Improvement Association. Please visit us during our November OHS Open House.

Three jewels of the Odenton Historic District, all listed on the National Register of Historic Places, will share the spotlight in a photo display at the Odenton Heritage Society open house on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus Visit!
Join us for the Annual Odenton Christmas Tree Lighting which will be on Saturday December 3rd from 5PM until 7PM, at the Odenton MARC station located at 1402 Odenton Road (west side of the tracks). Parking is free. We'll have refreshments and music. OHS January 2023 Open House
On the first OHS Open House of the new year, the Odenton Heritage Society will open a display spotlighting the failed Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad. A plan to build a railroad through Anne Arundel County to southern Calvert County captivated industrialists from the 1860's to the 1920's. The railroad was never completed, but organizers repeatedly tried to finance and build a line that would funnel freight to a new port near Solomons.
