Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
Join us for the Annual Odenton Christmas Tree Lighting which will be on Saturday December 4th from 5PM until 7PM, at the Odenton MARC station located at 1402 Odenton Road (west side of the tracks). Parking is free. The new coffee shop (Mildred’s) located in the OHS historic bank building will feature coffee drinks and hot cocoa and Christmas music provided by the Arundel Middle School choir. Please join us for our Christmas Open House, Bazaar and Bake Sale Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 1PM-4PM. We'll have a variety of handmade crafts as well as homemade baked goods for sale. We'll also be raffling off our beautiful, homemade Christmas lap quilt. Learn about Odenton history, tour our museum and meet your others in the Odenton community. Admission is free. The Odenton Heritage Society will celebrate Maryland Day weekend and Odenton’s recent addition to the Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area with a special open house at the OHS Museum on Sunday, March 27 from 1PM to 4PM. OHS April Open House
The Odenton Heritage Society Museum displays present 150 years of community history including homes, stores, schools, World War I, baseball legend Gordon “Babe” Phelps, and the growth of Odenton’s railroads. The museum is housed in the 1912 Old Masonic Hall, located at 1367 Odenton Road. Admission and tours of our museum are free. Face masks will be required to enter the building.
