The Odenton Heritage Society will celebrate Maryland Day weekend and Odenton’s recent addition to the Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area with a special open house at the OHS Museum on Sunday, March 27 from 1PM to 4PM. OHS April Open House
The Odenton Heritage Society Museum displays present 150 years of community history including homes, stores, schools, World War I, baseball legend Gordon “Babe” Phelps, and the growth of Odenton’s railroads. The museum is housed in the 1912 Old Masonic Hall, located at 1367 Odenton Road. Admission and tours of our museum are free. Face masks will be required to enter the building.

OHS May Open House
Join the Odenton Heritage Society in our next open house, Sunday, May 1st! We will continue to observe the town's 150th anniversary with "Odenton's Founders," a photo display about prominent 19th century families and their businesses. The Odenton Heritage Society will continue its celebration of Odenton's 150th anniversary with "Women on the Railroad," a photographic display showing local residents who worked in the headquarters of the WB&A Electric Railroad, coordinated troop train movements during World War II, and worked for the Railway Express Agency, a nationwide parcel service. On Sunday, July 3, the Odenton Heritage Society will commemorate the beginning of train service on the Amtrak-MARC Penn Line with an addition to the Society's railroad display.
